This is a great spot to camp, we've done so twice now in @Ramona_the_airstream . Campground is near, nestled in the pines. Bathrooms are decent, clean, and good hot showers. I love the natural spring there! I fill my water bottle on the way out every time. Delish. Also, we rented kayaks to float the river which is also a really neat experience. There's an easy walking trail from the campground, but that's it. More hiking opportunities would be neat.

Looks like a great place to drop in canoes. The jungle trail loop was flooded out when we visited so we had to walk on the loop road for a bit. Really cool that springs are feeding the river and lakes/ponds. Good place to enjoy nature.

I planned a trip for me and my daughter to go down to South Carolina for our first tent camping trip. Our experience was good but of course mother nature came through and started thundering and lightning so we had to cancel our trip early. Good thing is that we will be back on my birthday. I caught a catfish channel ....Everything about the place is spectacular. You just got to be patient to catch a fish but you will catch something... There's swimming in the lake it's just an exceptional place to vibe and relax To check out more go to my Instagram channel and check out my Live

Nice, smaller state park! Faith (park ranger) and Mr. Joel (campground host) were both amazing people to interact with. We caught a bass in Fish Lake and enjoyed drinking out of the artesian fountain by the canoe drop in.

Summer has ended, a weekday(s) camper and wheeee! Are just one of three. Nice park but the main road inside the park needs serious maintenance. I mean bring you super suspension 4 wheel because the pit holes seek to swallow a 20” and spits out bearings.

We had a great time. With the hot weather, we jumped in the Spring feed pond just through the woods nearby. Great marked trails for hiking!!

SC State Park with several fishing ponds, a hiking trail, and swimming area. The office/store is only open during limited hours, so If you want to rent a kayak or canoe you need to call at least a day ahead of time to make arrangements. There is a restroom in the day use area by the playground and swimming pond. We were there on a weekday in June and there was hardly anyone there.

I took my kids here and we had a blast. We looked at the river by the well, talked to the park ranger at the park office, enjoyed the brand new native garden, and swam in the pond. We had a great time and I really have to recommend swimming in the pond with small kids. It is very shallow and perfect for kids who don't know how to swim yet but still want to play in the water.
